The Foundation stone laying ceremony was held on Friday, 17th Aug2001. Dr. Narendar Nath (Education Minister) and Dr. A.K.Walia (Health Minister) laid the foundation stone and Mr. Bansi Lal (Councillor) presided over the function. Many distinguished guest included Principals and Directors of various schools and parents of the School Students. Cultural Show was presented by the students of different classes. The Chief Guest attended the ceremony and wished the Management, Staff and students good luck and success. They also appreciated the efforts of the Director of the School towards establishing an English Medium School for Girls in East Delhi. They respected the feeling of commitment towards enchaining girl education and their personality development in this era of living.
